9-Day Rwanda Gorillas Adventure & Tanzania wildlife safari gives you an opportunity to visit the land of a thousand hills in none other than Rwanda, with the rich beautiful attractions. Among these are the Akagera and Nyungwe national parks, Forests various flora and fauna and the famous Silverback mountain Gorillas found in the Volcanoes national park. Tracking endangered mountain Gorillas through the peculiar of the rain forest, with sweets voices of more than 200 species of birds and chitter-chatter of the rare golden monkey, is truly one of the unforgettable experiences.

 

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes national park

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, your tour driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking Volcanoes national park

Early breakfast and transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for the first gorilla trek. Briefing by your trackers then drive to the trail head for the start of your amazing gorilla tracking adventure.

Porters may also be hired for the trek to carry your backpack and gear. Your trek again starts in the cultivated foothills of the Virunga’s offering stirring views in all directions.

Others

When it enters the national park, trekkers will be immersed in the mysterious intimacy of the rain forest. Alive with the colorful bird calls, chattering golden monkeys, littered with fresh spoor of the mountains’ elusive buffalo and also elephant.

Through gaps in the canopy, the magnificent peaks are glimpsed, among the highest in Africa yet easily accessible, beckon an ascent. After the trek, rejoin your driver/Guide for a transfer to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will transfer back to Kigali city for a night.

Day 3: Kigali city Tour

On this day explore the Kigali city tour visiting the key areas like the Genocide memorial. Enjoy lunch at the best local restaurant; try Rwanda delicacies or good local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Kigali public library and when you have gotten your fill its time to visit one of the coolest coffee houses in Kigali.

Day 4: Fly to the safari capital of Tanzania-Arusha

As you bid farewell to Rwanda you will discover that Rwandan culture is very welcoming. Every encounter with the locals is with smiles and big welcome. Upon arrival at the Arusha airport, y0ur Tanzania Tour driver and specialist guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. After check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National park

Breakfast at the hotel, on the way visit Africa heritage and Shanga Shanga. Later Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kogatende Airstrip with packed lunch boxes. Upon arrival you will be picked and depart for a full day game drive at the Mara river viewing and great migration river crossing.

River Crossing at Kogatende start to occur every day in August as Mega herds settles into the area. The game viewing is Spectacular with Rivers crossing pretty much guaranteed every day.

Day 6: Full day game drive

After breakfast, your Tour Driver will pick you with a packed lunch boxes and depart for a full day safari. Great Wildebeest migration is one very famous in Serengeti national Park.

Over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras flow south from the Northern hills to southern plains for short rains every October and November, Then Swirl west and north after long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or Crocodile invested river can hold them back.

Wildebeest travel through variety of parks, Parks and protected areas and through a variety of habitat.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater

Fancy the morning breakfast, there after depart for Ngorongoro with a packed lunch boxes.

This unique wildlife destination hosts an awe inspiring abundance of large mammals. These include herbivores such as wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo and also Hartebeest among others. The Serengeti national park is also famous of Predator populations, especially big cats, Lion, Cheetah and also Leopard.

Day 8: Explore Ngorongoro crater on a game drive

Day 9: Transfer back to Arusha for the drop off

As you bid farewell to this sensational conservation area, you will be astonished by the animals in the display at Ngorongoro practically every minute. You will see lion, hyena, Jackal, Elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest.

Even the elusive Rhino wait around every twist of the road. Learn the Maasai culture by passing to their villages.
