3 Days Uganda Wildlife Experience will take you to the gifted Savannah national park in Western Uganda- Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wonderful adventure. Also, you will have a stopover in Fort Portal tourism city and the Equator as you return back to Kampala. Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the 10 national parks in Uganda and is famous for wildlife viewing, experiential game drives, boat cruise, nature walks and many other park activities.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is also known to host 4 of the 5 members of the big game animals and these include the Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes and Elephants. The park has the Kazinga channel where the boat cruise takes place and you can’t miss out on the big mammals (Elephants and Buffaloes) feeding and relaxing in the water. The park receives the highest number of tourists among all parks in the country and one of the reasons is that the park has a special sector called Ishasha. This is the only place in Uganda where you find the tree climbing lions.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
You will start your trip with a pick up by our driver guide from your hotel after having breakfast. Then, you will drive through the roads of Kampala heading West to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will drive through the Western route of Fort Portal and have lunch as you reach the city, and proceed to the park reaching early evening. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge and head for an evening game drive to view some of the game animals like the buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many others. You then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
On this day, after your early breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive where you will see animals like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, hippos, leopards, hyenas and others.
Later on, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
After lunch, you will head to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel will offer you one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Africa and Uganda in particular. Prepare to see countless hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, water birds and many of the other park animals drinking from the channel as you enjoy the boat cruise. You will later return to the lodge with a short evening game drive as you end your day with a sunset view while resting at your accommodation.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala via the Ishasha Sector for the tree climbing lions
Today you will wake up to a delicious breakfast at your lodge and then check out as you head to the southern part of the park. The Ishasah sector is well know to have the tree climbing lions and it’s one of the only two places in the world with these populations. These lions spend the day resting in the trees as they escape from the hot ground and the insect bits on the ground. Climbing a tree will be the worst choice in case your chased by these lions. The area is a breeding ground for the antelopes, giving a rise to the predators to station there. You may also have a chance to see the leopards and hyenas on a lucky day.
Expect to see other animals as well, then drive out of the park head to kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator at Kayabwe for lunch, then proceed to Kampala arriving in the evening at your accommodation.
